A lot of Macs have just been listed at the Mac refurbished page at the Apple Store. In case you didn't know, Apple sells refurbished equipment at the Apple Store. You can often find discounts on iPods, Apple TVs, just about everything. Things aren't always listed however. Occasionally a lot of equipment gets posted sometime over night at the refurbished page and good deals can be found. Some rumor sites think it means that updates are coming soon to a certain part of the Apple lineup, but I doubt it. Probably it just means that the techs who fix returned equipment have a bunch of equipment ready to be sold again so it gets put up on the store all at once.
The best deal I see there right now is a refurbished Mac Pro Quad 3.0GHz Intel Xeon for $2299. The page says it is 41% off the original price. Just below it is a listing for a Mac Pro with 2 DVD burners at the same price. Such a deal.
